I love that you can color and it’s really relaxing ?.Yet you cannot use many colors for the crayons.you would have to pay.Also you can’t color all of the pictures.other wise this app is the best.there is social media not unless you verify to do so.?

I really love working with this app but, sadly, I will have to give it up when my subscription expires. It was hard enough to spend $40 a year for this bit $60 is out of the question.now I see that it will be $79.99. No way. ?

I would not recommend this to adults. PARENTS BEWARE YOUR KIDS ARE NOT TELLING YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS APP. THEYRE USING IT FOR SOCIAL MEDIA. THERE ARE ADULTS INTERACTING WITH YOUR KIDS.

Parents! You will want to think twice before letting your child use this app. Kids are fooling parents who don’t let them use social media because Recolor allows for wide open chatting and posting selfies. There is a great deal of disturbing behavior from the kids - sexual role play, providing personal information to complete strangers, suicide and self harm posts, bullying, inappropriate and foul language, etc. Adults are openly sexting with children. And it’s all hidden behind a lovely and safe facade of a coloring book. The developers of this app are irresponsible and care only about the revenue your child is generating for them. They’ve been alerted of these issues for quite a long time and yet the app continues to evolve in this unhealthy and dangerous direction. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD INTO THIS ENVIRONMENT.

I logged in to the gallery but whenever I press I have verified, it still doesn’t let me publish any of my works and that is really annoying me. That is the only part I hate. If you could fix that part, I would rate this app five stars.

when i purchased the app nearly 12 mo. ago, i was delighted - 6 months later your offerings of pictures to color to became comical, as if you were trying to attract 3-5 y.o. children - added to that were the endless offerings of teenage pictures......hair, sunglasses, eyes, blood on faces, hands, arms - thank goodness for the import feature which provided my choice of pictures -YOU CANNOT BE EVERYTHING TO EVERYBODY & we have told you this over and over - when my subscription is gone in a few weeks, i will sadly leave- you inattention to our feedback is & will be your downfall

RECOLOR advertises this as an adult app but that seems only as a front to lure adults in because they really focus on teens. The pictures are horrible and at times of a sexual nature! You will find yourself importing pics vs using the provided RECOLOR pictures. The teens are out of control and very disrespectful. They post pictures that are more social, sexual, and disgusting. They use the app for selfies and contest. They also post suicide pictures and provide personal information that no child should pass to strangers. There are predators on the app that are having sexual conversations with children and RECOLOR will not ban ip addresses. Even if RECOLOR bans the account, the predators return to the app as much as they want and with multiple accounts. The users on the app are doing RECOLOR’s job by reporting these creeps but unfortunately they keep returning. If I can give this app a big fat zero, I would! I’m so disgusted with the RECOLOR staff! No app is worthy of any stars when children are vulnerable to predators!

This Recolor app started off great, but now is a hot mess! Being over run by wild kids and glitches! Support never answers and I left because I got tired of the suicide threats and cyber bullying....Apple needs to take a hard look at this app, it’s a disgrace! Parents please be aware!! this is a social media app for your kids, it’s no better than FB, twitter or instagram. They are allowed to do whatever they want! Open playground for perverts to prey upon your children, I have never seen an app more disgusting than Recolor! Some folks can turn a blind eye to this garbage, I was not one of them!

I have been using Recolor for a while now, but I’m so annoyed with it. I think the membership is slightly overpriced and the cost be at least lowered a little bit. I’m not gonna pay $7.99 a week for just some colors, effects, new tools, etc. Otherwise, the app is ok. Recolor is stress relieving but the limitations are overdone. They need to cut down on how many things they limit you from. Like the daily post limit and how many colors the people who aren’t members get to use. This is a good app except for the tweens, teens using the app as a social media app. They are bullying, and being bullied by other tweens, teens. They are also using it to role play very suggestive comments. They also are putting selfies of themselves and giving out information about themselves to others. There is also many older men on here that are interacting with these very young kids. PARENTS please beware of these issues and not let your young kids be on a app that allows social media due to these issues and more not mentioned. Do your homework and read the reviews. I will never allow my grandkids to be on a app that allows the kids to do so many terrible things on here. There are plenty of kids coloring apps that don’t have the ability to become a social media for them. Also another thing is that a lot of the kids post about depression, suicidal and self harm pictures or comments. Check out their apps closely please!

I used the free app for 3 months and joined right away when crayons were introduced. Unfortunately, the young teens unable to have a FB acct, have ruined this app. They have turned it into a chat room using the comments available for each pic posted, they have posted many suicide messages, stupid contests, story telling, and ridiculous childishness. Theres no way i would let my kids use this app and as an adult, Im done. I wont be renewing.

I have had this app, full version, for a few years. It is definitely the best coloring app. The import quality is the best of all the others, the crayons-once figured out- are great! What is disheartening is the social aspects. When I first started comments were NOT a part of the app, I often wished I could just tell a recolorist just how much I did like their work! Then it was added. But now children, and I’m sure some adults, have abused that privilege. Kids, 9-teens, are bullying each other, and anyone that doesn’t give them a “like” or “follow” them. There is way too much suicide conversation. Some say it’s for ‘awareness’, and I’m sure some don’t understand the difference in promoting it vs awareness of it. There have been details on how and where to cut yourself. One girl wrote a message, imported, claiming to be the mother of the recolorist and that her daughter had committed suicide. Now many saw it for what it was, but some believed it. Then the girl gets on later and basically days “psych!” And goes on like it was nothing There are many people on the app using it to deal with stress, medical limitations, and grief. One girl commented it was the only thing her parents would let her use because she wasn’t old enough to use social media apps There is NOT enough monitoring by the company and certainly not by the parents. This app should have two separate ones, a kid friendly COLORING app-no comments, and an adult COLORING app-with comments.

I was a paying member for a long time but have recently canceled my subscription. Parents be warned this is being used as a social media app by children/tweens/teens as young as 8-9 mixed in with adult users. Unlike other social media apps there are no security controls preventing your child from interacting with adults and any other person that finds them or they find. I have seen inappropriate content, children giving out personal information, posting selfies of themselves, bullying others, talk and pictures depicting suicide and self-harm, and children interacting with adults. As a parent please know that your child may not be using this app as it was intended and you should review your child’s account and be warned about these concerns about this app.

When I first bought this app, it was exactly what it said-a coloring app for adults. It has since become an app for children age 9 and up. It has become a social media app for children, who are not coloring but chatting with it. The coloring galleries are overrun with tweens and teens trying to get likes and followers, rather than trying to color. These children are often interacting with adults. PARENTS BEWARE!!

I used to love this app but there are increasing problems since it was changed to not being an adult coloring app. There are many children/teenagers on there now. A lot of them just have contests and use it as a social media app. Not only does it ruin scrolling through the galleries but there is quite a bit of bullying going on, as well. I really hope that something changes so adults and children can color in separate areas or separate apps.

This is a great game. There is a variety of pictures and not just for girls, for boys to. But I think that they should have more romantic pictures. Not gross pictures ,but romantic.Also I think that they should give us more tokens, or make all of the pics free. But otherwise great game!!

This app is NOT a game, NOT a social networking, NOT for posting black and white photos, NOT for contests, NOT for seeing who has the most likes, NOT for getting the most followers, NOT posting smoking pot, violence, porn. And NOW bullying and harassment towards adult users who actually color. And NOT for posting photos or pictures with offensive words. Owner of this app does not enforce their guidelines for using this app. Very sad. IT IS FOR COLORING kids/tweens/teens are/have taken over this app with all of the NOTS listed above DO NOT BUY THIS APP. ******************************************** Previous review Used to be a great app. Teens are turning it into a social network app. Teens have contests and challenges to get the most likes, most followers, post black and white photos, pages from books, uncolored pages with an arrow pointing down toward the comments section. Recolor has no way to delete them from following your gallery, only block them. However, you can’t block the person if they have no pictures posted. Way too many issues with the teens. There definitely needs to be a kids Recolor app and one for 18 and over. Very disappointed in Recolor’s inability to enforce the guidelines for this app.
